By the end of the program, your team will have a working prototype and have an opportunity to present at the end of summer

This documentary filmmaking program is designed to provide all essential skill sets for a job in film:  pre-production, camera operation,
lighting, sound, and video editing. Participants receive training while exploring the power of their personal narrative.  
​Working in small teams, participants will create an original short documentary.

ESPORTS APPRENTICESHIP

in partnership with Illinois Tech, Everyone Can Code Chicago, and Department of Family and Support Services

Gain a deeper understanding of the esports ecosystem!

Apprentices will take on the role of Content Creator for Illinois Tech Esports and Digital Arts Center, where you will learn how to build digital assets in 3D and 2D, how to create effective streaming accounts, and how to analyze the market response to maximize views. You will also learn to build your personal brand, create esports related content and organize an esports tournament.

No prior experience needed – just bring your imagination and enthusiasm to learn!

Join Game-Craft and you can code and create your own game!

This program will show you how to code and design your own games using Microsoft’s MakeCode and Minecraft Education. Led by fans of Minecraft, gaming, and coding, you will learn to think inside the blocks!

One Summer Chicago is an initiative that provides youth with employment and enrichment opportunities during the summer months.
One Summer Chicago offers summer employment to youth between the ages of 14 and 24. Most programs are between 20 and 25 hours per week.
