One Summer Chicago Student App Showcase

​The One Summer Chicago App Development with Swift Program will culminate in an end of summer student showcase event featuring select student teams from across Chicago who will share their app prototypes with a focus on solving youth community issues in the City of Chicago. One Summer Chicago, with the support of Chicago Public Schools and Apple’s Everyone Can Code initiative, has offered coding programs and summer internships with businesses across the city to more than 180 students. The showcase will feature teams (one to three members) who have done an outstanding job of prototyping their app ideas.

Evaluation Rubric
Teams will be evaluated on the following categories:
  • Pitch Content
  • Pitch Delivery
  • User Interface
  • User Experience
  • Coding Concepts
  • Technical Review
Each category is equally weighted.
Category Scale: 1 (Novice) to 4 (Mastered)
Maximum score is 24 points.
