Photography for All
In 2019, the Department of Family & Support Services One Summer Chicago, Apple’s Everyone Can Create and The Chicago Lighthouse’s First Jobs Program came together to create a new addition to the One Summer Chicago employment program — Photography for All.
The program was designed to give youth who are visually impaired new outlets to express their artistic ability while gaining the independence and confidence to carry them successfully through life. It also provided them the opportunity to stretch their imaginations and engage with art in ways previously inaccessible to them.
Student work includes: Muzaffar Ali | Hiba Lekhribat | Israa Salem | Giovanni Secundino
